Management GKW

Training

GK Water was hired to conduct training to municipal emplyees at Blue Crane Local Municipality as a sub contractor during our first year of business in 2010. The training is ongoing and we have managed to somplete twelve Unit Standards (Modules) to date and will complete stage one of the training during the first six months of 2011. We are also proud of our progress and the learners have gained extreemly valuable knowledge during the period of training.

We at GK Water will also be conducting Training in Water Reticulation in other areas of the Easten Cape province South Africa starting early in 2011. We are hoping to expand to the other provinces by end of 2011. GK Water is also conducting training and Assessments on the water reticulation systems and staff in one of our neighbouring countries as a sub contractor.

We are also in the process of compiling standard operating procedures with our clients and conducting the training of implementation of the procedures. This includes Waste water Reticulation and Wastewater treatment works with some municipalities.

Survey on and quality inspections

GK Water (GKW) was asked to conduct a comprehensive survey on the water and sewerage reticluation system in the Eastern cape to determine the current state of the networks and to determine a cost of repairs to the system. We are proud to have completed this within the time allocated and done it to the satisfaction of our client.

Water Network Management

GK Water was hired to Manage the water & sewerage Networks in Queenstown, Mlungisi and Ezibeleni on behalf of our client over the passed few months. This consisted of developing maintenance plans, project plans, costing of projects up to R6m, Managing staff working on the networks and capital expenditure on the networks. Then was conducted sucessfully in a proffesional manner.

Introduction to GK Water

GK Water was registered during 2010 as a new company in the Water & Waste Water industry, currently Operating throughout South Africa. We are a small enterprise, with proffesional staff in the fields of water engineering, Water Reticulation, Water purification and waste Water Operations. We also conduct accredited training in the field mentioned and include coaching and mentoring to our learners and clients.
