Although GKWS operated in South Africa since 2009 as GK Water cc; we gained a sub contract in Botswana in December 2010. It started as three month contract and is now a 2 year contract. The scope of the contract is to commission the new WWTW recently constructed and will be extended this year, to act as advisors on the WWTW and Wastewater network in Gaborone and Francistown and to manage the project on behalf of our client for one year.
GKWS is now also registered in Botswana as GK Water Solutions PTY (LTD) and is currently operating in this capacity in Botswana. With our years of experience as individuals and combined, we have proven our capabilities in starting-up and running new projects with great success. Our team of engineers are able and willing to solve and eliminate any problems in the most difficult situations. Congratulations to our team in Botswana on your exceptional performance and with the recent handover of the new WWTW that was commissioned with success. The team in Botswana consists of George Maritz (Contract manager), Paul Mothiba (Snr Project Engineer in Francistown), Ntsako Mkhasi (Engineer Gaborone), Thabang Seriti (Engineer Gaborone) and Nydine Maritz (Administrator/Marketer & Graphic designer). All played a very important role in the progress of the contract.
Congratulations on three of our teams’ birthdays in August, Nydine Maritz, Thabang Seriti and Ntsako Mkhasi who celebrated their birthdays in Botswana this year. We appreciate your commitment and which you a Blessed year to come.
